Key Responsibilities:
  • Prioritize Health and Safety by adhering to established policies and procedures.
  • Engage in physically demanding tasks, including lifting and moving heavy materials.
  • Operate both light and heavy machinery, utilizing various hand and power tools.
  • Wear and correctly use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Work in diverse weather conditions, both indoors and outdoors.
  • Handle environments with potential exposure to hazardous chemicals and physical agents.
  • Perform tasks in high-noise areas and confined spaces, including lifting in low-clearance situations.
  • Conduct field sampling and assist in the calibration of measurement instruments.
  • Climb ladders and scaffolding, and safely enter and exit vehicles and containers.
  • Work extended hours as necessary.
  • Participate in safety meetings and compliance training.
  • Inspect containers for integrity and compliance with regulations.
  • Safely load and unload hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
  • Conduct waste sampling and profiling as required.
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Operate vehicles in compliance with transportation regulations.
  • Follow all corporate guidelines and safety protocols.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Be available for on-call emergency response as required.
Qualifications:
  • Reliable transportation is essential.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks as outlined in the responsibilities.
  • Willingness to be on-call for emergency situations, including weekends and holidays.
  • Must pass a background check, drug screening, and physical examination.
  • Compliance with OSHA's Respiratory Protection standards is mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a labor-intensive role is advantageous.
