About the Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at Mass General Brigham in Malden, Massachusetts. As a member of our healthcare team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Job Summary:

  • The successful candidate will provide high-quality clinical support to our physical therapy team, assisting with tasks such as glucometry, EKGs, and vital signs.
  • Responsibilities will also include responding to patient and family needs, ensuring efficient operation of the unit, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Certification as a CNA, PCT, MA, or EMT is required, with commensurate experience.
  • Previous ESA/PCA experience is also necessary.
  • Nursing students who have completed their fundamentals of nursing with a clinical component are encouraged to apply.
  • Bilingual skills are highly valued, as well as knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification by the American Heart Association or the Red Cross is required upon hire.
