- Provide Strategic and Operational Support: Provide strategic and operational support to the organization, leveraging your expertise in clinical data quality management, process improvement, and measurement issues.
- Minimum Qualifications: A minimum of 5 years of related experience at a director level, or 10 years of combination of related education and work experience, and a master's degree.
- Applied Expertise: Applied expertise working with clinical and health information systems, open data sources, and data standards.
- Experience Working with Production Healthcare Systems: Experience working with production healthcare systems, such as EHRs, Health Information Exchanges (HIEs), Interface Engines, or other clinical systems.
- Familiarity with Healthcare Industry: Familiarity with the healthcare industry, healthcare terminology, clinical roles, and national healthcare organizations.
- Knowledge of Clinical Quality Measures: Knowledge of clinical quality measures and clinical decision support systems.
- Experience with Data Visualization Tools: Experience using data visualization tools.
- Experience with Data Querying Languages: Experience with data querying languages, and statistical transaction & activities.
- Proficient in Writing Algorithms: Proficient in writing algorithms and knowing when to apply them.
- Strong Understanding of Healthcare IT Standards: A strong understanding of Healthcare IT standards (HL7, CDA-based standards, and the HL7 FHIR).
- Familiarity with HIPAA and FISMA Policies: Familiarity with the associated HIPAA and FISMA privacy and security policies that must be addressed when handling Protected Health Information (PHI), Personally Identifiable Information (PII).
Prolonged periods of standing, bending or working at a desk on a computer. The ability to lift (up to 15 lbs) is required.
