Metrology Specialist

Vigor, a Titan Company, is seeking a skilled Metrology Technician to join our team. As a Metrology Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of our products.

• Perform dimensional inspection and fabrication support measurements using advanced measuring equipment and techniques.
• Work with the Lead Metrology Technician and Metrology Manager to identify, segregate, and tag non-conforming materials.
• Assist other technicians with inspection and fabrication support activities as needed.
• Operate within general parameters, following direction in priorities, goals, and work assignments.

• High School Diploma or GED Certificate is required.
• Previous experience in manufacturing and/or fabrication environment is preferred.
• Comprehension of 3D geometry/CAD or solid modeling is required.
• Knowledge of trigonometric functions and XYZ coordinate systems is required.

The position operates in a dynamic, fast-paced setting with moderate to loud noise levels from production activity in the shipyard or fabrication areas. The person must be able to walk to and from job sites, climb inclined stairways and vertical ladders, enter confined areas and tanks, and work at heights.
