Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including documentation, due diligence, closing, and post-closing activities.
  • Review and analyze complex legal documents, such as contracts, leases, loan agreements, and title documents.
  • Conduct title searches, examine title, and prepare initial title commitments and title exception documents.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties in a professional manner.
  • Prepare and file legal documents with appropriate entities.
  • Coordinate and manage routine administrative work, such as opening matters, maintaining calendars, scheduling meetings, making travel arrangements, and preparing expense reports.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a commercial real estate paralegal.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of commercial real estate law and transactions.
  • Proficiency in title examination and conducting legal research.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple transactions and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and legal research software.
  • Paralegal certification or degree from an accredited program is preferred.
  • Notary Public is an added advantage.
