Role Summary: The Senior Tax Consultant will oversee the evaluation of tax returns, tax reporting, tax strategy, and compliance tasks performed by accounting personnel to align with the objectives of the tax division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee income tax compliance projects and assess income tax returns for high-net-worth individuals, trusts, and various businesses.
  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop staff both in-person and remotely, while effectively managing internal scheduling based on staff capabilities.
  • Conduct research and exhibit a thorough understanding of technical tax regulations and exceptional client service.
  • Build and maintain client relationships and engage in proposals for potential clients.
  • Evaluate the quality of deliverables and the performance of the tax team.
  • Execute additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Prior tax experience in a public accounting environment is essential.
  • CPA or EA certification is mandatory.
  • Strong leadership and analytical abilities.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
