About CHRISTUS Health:

CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital - Westover Hills is a 150-bed facility catering to the rapidly expanding region of San Antonio. Our specialized medical services encompass orthopedic and surgical care, intensive care unit (ICU) support, women's health services, a newborn nursery, comprehensive cardiovascular treatment ranging from diagnostics to surgical interventions, a vascular laboratory, sleep disorder management, emergency care, the CHRISTUS Weight Loss Institute, wound care, rehabilitation services, and more. Additionally, our campus features an Outpatient Imaging Center and several medical plazas, including one that hosts our Family Medicine Residency Program.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities are essential.
  • Proficiency in word processing and computer applications is required.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and precision is crucial.
  • Capability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks concurrently, ensuring successful completion of all work assignments.
  • One to two years of experience in clerical roles, customer service, and effective communication skills are necessary to serve as a liaison between departments.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting and direct interaction with patients is preferred.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology is advantageous.
  • Bilingual candidates are preferred.
  • If licensed as an LVN/LPN, a minimum of two years of clinical experience is required.
  • Experience in utilization management is a plus (optional).
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is essential; significant relevant education and/or training may be considered.
  • Current LVN/LPN licensure is optional.
