As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care to diverse populations under the direction of our registered nurses, physicians, and specialists.
Responsibilities- Collect and document patient data and observations, contributing to the nursing assessment and reporting to the RN or authorized directing healthcare provider.
- Implement the current plan of nursing care at the direction of the RN or authorized directing healthcare provider.
- Document and verbally communicate patient responses to the nursing plan of care, observing for adverse reactions to medications or treatments and performing routine laboratory tests.
- Contribute to the revision of the nursing plan of care.
- Provide education and information to patients and family members.
- Maintain professional growth and development within the nursing field.
- Participate in the departmental orientation of new employees, sharing knowledge and providing guidance when assigned.
- Graduate of an approved school of Practical Nursing.
- Current Ohio License as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA).
- One year of patient care experience preferred.
