Job Summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a skilled CT/C-arm Technologist to join our flexible team. As a Flex CT/C-arm Tech, you will travel to our outpatient centers in the Twin Cities, working with a variety of team members, Radiologists, and equipment to expand your skillset.

This is a full-time position (option for part-time 30-39 hours per week, benefit eligible) working Monday-Friday day shifts, traveling to centers in the Twin Cities. The role includes weekend rotation (no call) and offers differential pay and mileage.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Patient Imaging (80%): Performs routine and advanced CT procedures on designated body parts with minimal supervision or repeats.
  2. Screens patients before exams for precautions or contraindications.
  3. Prepares patients for CT or diagnostic and therapeutic injection procedures, explaining the process and providing support.
  4. Produces diagnostic images and performs quality control tasks.
  5. Adjusts scan parameters correctly and utilizes dose reduction techniques as needed.
  6. Converses with doctors, nurses, patients, and family members as required.
  7. Follows physicians' orders precisely and conforms to safety regulations.
  8. Maintains positive relationships with radiologists, customers, and associates.
  9. Accurately maintains patient records within the Radiology Information System.
  10. Maintains an orderly and clean work area.
Imaging Support (15%)
  1. Maintains equipment in good working order and cleans/disinfects after each use.
  2. Assists in maintaining an updated radiographic protocol manual.
  3. Monitors medical supply inventory.
  4. Assists with training new associates, providing resource and technical expertise.
Other Tasks (5%)

Performs other tasks as assigned.

Requirements
  1. ARRT registered technologist, current and in good standing.
  2. Graduate of an AMA-approved school of radiography.
  3. Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable.
  4. Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
  5. Valid driver's license and proof of current insurance.
Preferred
  1. CT Certification.
  2. Bilingual.
