Job Summary

$5,000 Sign on bonus Explore the nation through the eyes of one of the largest imaging companies in the United States. RAYUS Radiology is seeking a CT Technologist to join our Travel Technologist team. As a RAYUS CT Technologist, you will be part of our internal travel team serving multiple markets across the nation. You will have the opportunity to expand your skill set on multiple systems and enjoy competitive pay with full-time benefits. All travel-related expenses are company-paid.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • (80%) Patient Imaging
    • Perform routine and advanced CT procedures on designated body parts for use by physicians in diagnosing and treating patient illness and/or injury with minimal supervision or repeats.
    • Screen patients before exams for any precautions or contraindications pertaining to the examination.
    • Prepare patients for CT procedures, explaining the procedure, positioning patients for scanning, and providing patient support throughout the procedure.
    • Produce diagnostic images in assigned areas and perform quality control tasks as assigned.
    • Adjust scan parameters correctly and as needed, utilizing dose reduction techniques as appropriate.
    • Converse with doctors, nurses, patients, and family members as required.
  • (15%) Imaging Support
    • Maintain equipment in good working order, clean, and disinfect after each use.
    • Assist in maintaining an updated radiographic protocol manual.
    • Monitor medical supply inventory.
    • Assist with training new associates, providing resource and technical expertise.
  • (5%) Perform other tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
  • ARRT registered technologist, current and in good standing.
  • Graduate of the American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography.
  • Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable.
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
  • Must have training and experience sufficient to competently perform radiographic procedures independently.
  • CT certification.
  • Valid driver's license and proof of current insurance.
Preferred:
  • Bilingual.
