Job Title: Associate Clinical Therapist

Interfaith Community Services is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Associate Clinical Therapist to join our Recovery and Wellness Center team. As a key member of our mental health services team, you will provide professional mental health services, including case consultation, individual and group psychotherapy, evaluations, and assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct intake assessments and prepare diagnostic evaluations to determine the cause, nature, and severity of clients' mental status.
  • Determine medical necessity and level of care placement for Substance Use Disorder treatment services.
  • Develop, evaluate, and implement goal-oriented treatment plans.
  • Provide direct treatment services, including individual, family, and group therapy, to a complex client population.
  • Intervene in crisis situations when clients exhibit acute psychiatric symptoms.
  • Provide rehabilitative and socialization services to restore and maintain clients' functional levels.
  • Participate in staff reviews and recommend changes in therapeutic techniques and environment to facilitate client recovery.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Behavioral Health, or related field.
  • Current registration with the State of California as a Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) Associate Marriage Family Therapist (AMFT), Associate Social Worker (ASW), or Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC).
  • 2+ years of experience working in a social service or counseling setting.
