Color Matcher

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Color Matcher to join our team at Aerotek. As a Color Matcher, you will be responsible for matching colors requested by customers in a timely manner, ensuring accurate reproduction of colors for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Match colors requested by customers in a timely manner
• Match colors for easy reproduction
• Keep accurate records of formulas for consistent reproduction
• Mix paint, primer, stain, and glaze for production
• Create sample chips and box up chip sets
• Update stain and glaze step panels for accurate production
• Package ordered finish materials according to shipping requirements and developed SOPs
• Track inventory of paint and pigment supplies
• Use and maintain matching equipment to ensure consistent quality (dispenser, mixers, spectrophotometer, gloss checker, etc.)
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Additional Responsibilities:

As a Color Matcher, you may also be responsible for assisting in the assembly area, including pulling individual boards from a stack of lumber and placing them on a conveyor system, measuring boards to ensure consistency, and sorting boards based on measurements and quality.

Requirements:

• Ability to read a tape measure
• Production experience
• Ability to multi-task

Work Environment:

This is a fully on-site position in New Holland, Pennsylvania. The work environment is a woodworking shop, which can be a little dusty due to the high-tech ventilation system in place. The position is open due to an increase in business, and we are looking for a skilled Color Matcher to join our team.
