We are seeking a qualified Special Day Class Teacher to implement an instructional program in our district. The ideal candidate will have a California Education Specialist Teaching Credential in Mild/Moderate Disabilities (with English Learner Authorization) or be eligible for a Provisional Internship Permit (PIP), Short-Term Staff Permit (STSP), or Intern Credential.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement instructional programs for students with mild/moderate disabilities
  • Collaborate with colleagues to provide a supportive learning environment
  • Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
  • Communicate with parents and guardians to ensure student success
Requirements
  • California Education Specialist Teaching Credential in Mild/Moderate Disabilities (with English Learner Authorization)
  • Provisional Internship Permit (PIP), Short-Term Staff Permit (STSP), or Intern Credential
  • Ability to work with students with diverse learning needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
