We are looking for an experienced Electrician for our Industry and Water Segment. This role executes all assigned work safely, effectively and efficiently within the general scope for the mechanic role. Provides feedback on preventative maintenance that might improve the process and notes additional work required on inspected equipment. Responds to emergency or unplanned work as needed, including callouts. Works on plant modifications including work on capital improvements. Participates in operation of plant utility systems. This position is in our Mojave, CA facility.

In this role you’ll be responsible for:

Supporting and advancing the site safety culture Utilizing your strong background in preventative and predictive maintenance, reliability, and plant utilities to advance plant initiatives Maintaining planning of material ordering on project work Having a working knowledge of OSHA safety requirements Having equipment specific knowledge of boilers, steam systems, DC power supplies (rectifier-transformers) and electrochemical processes. Utilizing your strong interpersonal and leadership skills to enable you to work and communicate well with others. Having good analytical skills and experience applying problem solving techniques aimed at root cause analysis and corrective actions Utilizing your project management skills and experience within a chemical manufacturing environment to advance plant initiatives Working with computerized maintenance management software (SAP PM preferred), Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, Word), and other computerized systems

What you’ll bring to the team:

High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum 2-3 years of experience in chemical manufacturing preferred 2 years vocational school/technical training strongly preferred Good written and verbal communication skills and Math and reading comprehension skills Completion of 10 modules (minimum) of mechanical skills training required Good computer skills
