Job Overview

Proman Skilled Trades is actively seeking a Commercial Piping Specialist to enhance our workforce. The role involves the assembly and installation of piping systems, including tubes, fittings, and associated equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute the layout, assembly, installation, and maintenance of plumbing systems.
  • Ensure installations comply with specifications and relevant trade and building regulations.
  • Work with various systems, including those for heating, cooling, gas, steam, and industrial processes.
  • Analyze specifications, building plans, and shop drawings to identify necessary tools and installation sequences.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols, including the implementation of 6S practices. Properly utilize all Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and safety gear.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of four (4) years of experience in Commercial Pipe Fitting.
  • Proficient in reading blueprints and schematics.
  • Knowledgeable in pipefitting tools and methodologies.
  • Able to manage a physically demanding workload.
  • Possess personal tools and reliable transportation.
  • Exhibit strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

*Compensation is commensurate with experience.
