Job Summary

The Patient Services Representative I/Rehabilitation Technician is a vital member of our healthcare team, serving as the first point of contact for patients. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet patients and families, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere
  • Answer incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries
  • Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
  • Assist with patient registration and insurance verification
  • Collect and process payments
  • Run reports and perform administrative tasks as needed
Requirements
  • High school degree required; college or specialized training preferred
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a medical office or rehabilitation setting
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance regulations
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience with electronic medical records and medical software
  • Knowledge of Meditech and Raintree software programs
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Physical Requirements

This role requires the ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods, as well as the ability to lift up to 20 pounds. The employee must also be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
