We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Health Information Specialist I to join our team at CIOX Health. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and confidentiality of patient health information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and manage patient health records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and company policies.
  • Respond to requests for patient information, both within the facility and from external sources, in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve issues and improve processes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, using multiple platforms and software systems.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Basic computer proficiency and experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare environment, preferably in a production or customer service role.
