Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Caregiver. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their dignity and respect are upheld at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide quality care and assistance to residents in accordance with our resident philosophy and policies.
  • Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Check residents every two hours and report any findings to the supervisor.
  • Complete assignment sheets daily and maintain accurate records.
  • Encourage residents to attend meals in the dining room and assist with meal preparation as needed.
  • Establish and maintain good relationships with residents and their families.
  • Dispose of incontinent products according to OSHA regulations and company policy.
  • Practice proper body mechanics when lifting and follow safety guidelines.
  • Respond to resident emergencies and work assigned schedule.
Qualifications
  • High school education required.
  • Non-certification with proper training or possession of valid state certification as C.N.A.
  • 1-3 years experience in a senior care community or nursing home environment preferred.
  • Good understanding of how Dementia and Alzheimer's Disease can affect behavior.
  • Able to communicate effectively with all levels of management, associates, residents, family members, and outside contacts.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position requiring a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. The successful candidate will be required to undergo a background check and provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
