Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced caregiver to provide high-quality care and support to our seniors. As a dedicated caregiver, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our elderly loved ones receive the care and attention they deserve.

The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and a deep understanding of the unique needs of seniors. You will be responsible for providing personal care assistance, mobility support, medication management, meal preparation, companionship, and household management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
  • Assist seniors with walking and moving within their environment, ensuring safety and comfort.
  • Help manage medication schedules and ensure medications are taken accurately and on time.
  • Plan and prepare nutritious meals that cater to any dietary restrictions.
  • Engage in meaningful conversation and activities that stimulate mental and emotional well-being.
  • Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
  • Help with errands, appointments, and outings, ensuring seniors maintain an active and fulfilling lifestyle.
  • Maintain clear communication with family members and healthcare professionals to provide updates on health and well-being.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in caregiving for seniors, preferably in a private home setting.
  • Relevant certifications in caregiving, first aid, and CPR.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a deep empathy for the elderly and their unique needs.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect the dignity of seniors at all times.

Schedule & Location:

The caregiver will be needed on a full-time basis, with specific hours to be discussed upon hiring. The position is based in Jacksonville, FL, and we are looking for someone who is flexible and willing to work weekends or holidays as needed.
