As an Automotive Support Specialist at Dorman Products, you will play a crucial role in managing customer interactions and addressing technical inquiries related to our product offerings.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure customer commitments are met consistently or communicate any necessary updates.
Proactively monitor customer orders to guarantee timely delivery.
Coordinate logistics for product shipments.
Provide telephone support, offering feedback and assistance to customers as needed.
Deliver technical support via phone, including follow-ups for quality assurance.
Collaborate with material and production teams to inform customers about potential delays.
Demonstrate the ability to learn about products, various systems, and customer interfaces.
Maintain precise documentation as customer requirements or processes evolve.
Perform additional tasks as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
*Prior experience with automotive components is preferred.
Strong organizational skills are essential.
Maintain a professional and positive attitude.
Ability to manage customer complaints and resolve conflicts effectively.
Capable of multitasking while paying attention to detail.
Experience in customer service within the automotive or manufacturing sectors is desirable.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Google Docs is necessary.
Experience with ERP/MRP systems in a manufacturing context is a plus.
