Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team at a reputable healthcare facility in Charleston, South Carolina.

Job Summary:

This is a 13-week travel assignment with a 36-hour workweek, offering a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and gain valuable experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with a variety of conditions, including respiratory failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and pneumonia.
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests, including spirometry and arterial blood gas analysis.
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest respiratory care techniques and technologies.
Requirements:
  • Current RRT certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
  • 1-2 years of recent experience in respiratory therapy.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including days and nights.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
