Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team at a prestigious teaching hospital in Charleston, South Carolina. As a Travel Respiratory Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care to patients of all ages, including pediatric, neonate, and infant patients
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify respiratory issues and develop effective treatment plans
  • Operate and maintain respiratory equipment, including ventilators and oxygen therapy devices
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on respiratory care and disease management
Requirements
  • Current RRT certification
  • 2+ years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
  • Pediatric, neonate, and infant experience
  • BLS and PALS certifications
  • NRP and NBRC certifications
  • SC RCP certification
  • Epic experience preferred
  • Trauma Level I experience preferred
  • Teaching hospital experience preferred
