Medical Support Specialist

Salary Range: $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience
About Vidant Health PhysiciansVidant Health Physicians is a multi-specialty group with over 600 providers in more than 140 primary and specialty clinics across the state.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to assist our clinicians with patient care services. The ideal candidate will have strong time management skills and be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Responsibilities:- Coordinate clinic operations and assist providers with patient care services
- Perform vital signs, patient questionnaire intake, data entry, and medical records management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient documentation in electronic medical records
- Assist with patient care services and customer service as needed
To be considered for this position, you must meet the following requirements:
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification through AAMA or AMT, or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Heart Association
- At least one year of experience in a clinical or medical office setting
This is a full-time position with a Monday-Friday schedule from 8am-5pm. No on-call or weekend shifts are required.
