Resumen del Trabajo y Calificaciones

El Especialista en Medicina Nuclear para nuestra práctica proporciona experiencia clínica para garantizar que todos los pacientes reciban atención de alta calidad y eficiente. Como Especialista en Medicina Nuclear, será responsable de proporcionar imágenes de Medicina Nuclear con un detalle técnico, requiriendo juicio independiente, ingenio e iniciativa en la producción de exámenes médicos nucleares de calidad, y proporcionando servicios administrativos al departamento de imagenología diagnóstica. Buscamos una adición a nuestro equipo que considere que la atención al paciente es tan significativa como nosotros.

Lo que hará en este rol:

· Preparará, medirá y administrará radiofármacos en estudios diagnósticos y terapéuticos, utilizando una variedad de equipos mientras sigue los procedimientos prescritos.

· Calibrará equipos.

· Realizará estudios diagnósticos en pacientes según lo prescrito por el médico, utilizando escáneres o cámaras de centelleo para detectar radiación emitida y producir contadores, escaladores y detectores de centelleo.

· Administrará dosis terapéuticas de radiofármacos bajo la dirección de un médico.

· Seguirá técnicas de seguridad radiológica en el uso y eliminación de materiales radiactivos.

· Proporcionará atención a pacientes desde el nacimiento hasta pediátricos, pacientes pediátricos/infantiles entre 1 y 11 años; pacientes adolescentes entre 12 y 17 años; pacientes adultos entre 18 y 64 años; y pacientes geriátricos de 65 años o más.

Calificaciones que puede necesitar:

· Debe ser graduado de un programa acreditado de AMA con un certificado o título en Tecnología Radiológica o Tecnología en Medicina Nuclear.

· Registrado con el ARRT y/o NMTCB o elegible para registro.

· Se requiere un proveedor de atención médica de Soporte Vital Básico (BLS) actual de la Asociación Americana del Corazón (AHA) o de la Cruz Roja Americana.

· Se prefiere de 1 a 3 años de experiencia.
