Warehouse Loader/Unloader

As a Warehouse Loader/Unloader, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse. Your primary responsibility will be to load and unload merchandise from trucks to ship to store locations. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
Load and unload merchandise from trucks to ship to store locations
Assist in receiving merchandise and report any discrepancies
Help stock merchandise and maintain a clean and organized warehouse
Determine the appropriate loading configuration to ensure maximum trailer utilization
Load product into trucks on pallets or by hand stacking or a combination of both
Ensure the method of loading prohibits damage in transit
Inspect incoming merchandise and inform the Warehouse Manager of any damages
Maintain a neat appearance and professional attitude
Maintain proper paperwork and follow all safety rules
Requirements
Proven experience as a warehouse loader/unloader or another warehouse position
Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain a high level of productivity
Great attention to detail and ability to read and understand simple instructions, paperwork, merchandise tickets, safety rules, and regulations
Must be flexible and able to perform under pressure
Ability to lift, push, pull, carry, reach, grasp, stoop, bend for up to 10 hours at a time
Must be able to visually inspect merchandise and delivery documents
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of the Warehouse Loader/Unloader, the employee will be regularly required to stand for long periods of time, walk, talk, hear, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. This employee is required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, or crouch. This position requires the employee to frequently move or lift a minimum of 50 pounds, and occasionally move up to 100 pounds, using proper lifting techniques.
