Job Summary

The Speech-Language Pathologist will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating students with speech and language disorders. You will work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that meet the unique needs of each student.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and diagnose students with speech and language disorders
  • Develop and implement IEPs for students with speech and language disorders
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to students
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement strategies to support students with speech and language disorders
  • Communicate with parents and guardians to keep them informed of their child's progress
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • A Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
  • A G License from the NC Department of Public Instruction
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with students of varying ages and abilities
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position that requires working in a school setting. You will be required to work with students, teachers, and other professionals to support the educational needs of students with speech and language disorders.
