Key Responsibilities

Position Summary:

This role reports to the Manager of Sports Medicine, the Coordinator of Athletic Training Services, or the Athletic Trainer Team Lead. Collaborating with medical professionals, the Athletic Trainer will provide care for individuals experiencing athletic injuries, trauma, and related health issues. This includes developing and implementing injury prevention programs for athletes in both community and clinical environments. The position involves active participation in the rehabilitation process through a variety of treatment modalities specific to athletic injury management. Regular communication with referring physicians and sports medicine staff regarding patient progress is essential. The Athletic Trainer will work with a diverse range of outpatient orthopedic patients, from youth to adults, and will engage with patients, colleagues, and clients throughout the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Valid license from the Ohio Occupational Therapy/Physical Therapy and Athletic Trainers Board.
  • Current certification from the Athletic Trainers Board of Certification.
  • Certification in CPR at the healthcare provider level.
