Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough risk assessments of construction projects, including reviewing submissions, policy wording, and financial reports.
- Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to mitigate potential losses.
- Collaborate with agents, brokers, and clients to understand their risk management needs and provide customized solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks to ensure our clients receive the best possible protection.
- Work closely with our claims and risk engineering teams to provide value-added services to our clients.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial underwriting, with a focus on construction primary casualty.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality underwriting results, with a strong understanding of risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, agents, and brokers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, finance, or risk management.
