Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various ultrasound examinations, operating imaging equipment, and ensuring patient safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasounds on patients according to procedure protocols
- Position patients for exams and explain procedures
- Operate ultrasound equipment to provide quality images and monitor patients
- Communicate effectively with physicians, teammates, patients, and families
- Process images and patient information through RIS and PACS
- Perform quality assurance on ultrasound equipment
- Perform required cleaning and sterilization procedures
Desired Professional Skills and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of clinical ultrasound experience
- Current BLS (CPR) certification required
- Required Certification- Registered Vascular Sonographer (ARDMS)
- Required Certification- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)
