Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team at Fairfield Inn & Suites, Littleton, CO. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Housekeeping Operations: Supervise the cleanliness and appearance of guest accommodations and public spaces, ensuring all personnel performing housekeeping operations carry out their assignments in accordance with established standards.
  • Problem Resolution: Responsible for all housekeeping problems, supplies, linen, equipment, and work orders to Maintenance Staff.
  • Team Management: Train, assign, and schedule department personnel, checking the quality of work performed and making appropriate corrections and changes as necessary.
  • Guest Service: Handle guest complaints concerning housekeeping service or refer problems to management for adjustment.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition uniforms and supplies, and supervise the testing of new products for the housekeeping department.
  • Quality Control: Personally inspect at least 8 rooms daily to ensure cleanliness standards are being met.
  • Lost and Found: List and itemize lost and found items.
  • Room Preparation: Check rooms to ensure that lights are working properly and inspect for needed repairs.
  • Storage and Linen Management: Supervise the keeping of all storage areas and linen rooms in a clean and satisfactory condition, as well as, stocked with needed items.
  • Valuables: Report and deliver valuable items to the Manager's Office as early as possible after a guest has checked out.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Responsible for all linens, blankets, and room supplies; equipment, vacuums, washing machines, dryers, etc.
Requirements
  • Experience: Must have extensive knowledge of hotel housekeeping and cleaning techniques.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to lift, bend, move heavy equipment, and remain on one's feet for extended periods of time.
  • Communication Skills: Must have good communication skills, Spanish speaking skills a plus.
  • Teamwork: Must be team oriented and dedicated to providing excellent service and ensuring that the brand's highest standards are met.
  • Availability: Must be able to work any day of the week including weekends and holidays.
