Bridgeway Behavioral Health Services is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Peer Support Specialist-Peer Case Manager to join our MCORT: 988 Mobile Crisis Outreach Response Team. As a key member of our crisis response team, you will work closely with individuals in crisis to provide support, guidance, and resources to help them achieve their recovery goals.
Responsibilities:
- Provide crisis intervention and support to individuals in crisis, utilizing your lived experience and training to engage and empower them.
- Develop and implement person-centered crisis intervention plans to ensure positive outcomes.
- Collaborate with team members to provide comprehensive support and services to individuals in crisis.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment that values diversity, equity, and belonging.
Requirements:
- Must have lived experience and at least 2 years of continuous recovery from SMI or SUD diagnosis.
- One of the following certifications is required: CRSP-Certified Recovery Support Practitioner, CPRS-Certified Peer Recovery Specialist, NCRPSS-National Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist, Certified Wellness Coach or Community MH Associate Certificate, and at least one year of field experience working with persons in the community.
- Two years' experience and at least one of the years working with persons in a community setting.
- Experience working with persons with mental health and co-occurring diagnosis preferred.
- Valid driver's license required.
