Home Health Development Specialist:
Amedisys is seeking a Home Health Development Specialist to join their team in the Altoona area. This role offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity for professionals to make a difference in the lives of patients and families.
Responsibilities:
- Educate healthcare professionals, patients, and families about home care services
- Develop and maintain relationships with key referral sources, such as hospitals, nursing homes, and physician offices
- Coordinate patient admissions with the team, including obtaining all required documentation
Requirements:
- At least one year of experience in a healthcare-related business development or outreach role
- Reliable transportation, current driver's license, and liability insurance
Compensation and Benefits:
- $78,000 - $88,000 per year, plus bonus potential
- A full benefits package, including choice of affordable PPO or HSA medical plans
- Paid time off and up to $1,700 in free healthcare services paid by Amedisys yearly
