Assistant Center Director

The Assistant Center Manager plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical center. This position requires strong administrative leadership skills, with a focus on supervising team members and delivering exceptional patient care and customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Identify areas for improvement within departments and centers, and implement changes to enhance overall efficiency.
- Assist in the selection, evaluation, coaching, and training of team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
- Oversee the onboarding process for new team members, providing comprehensive training and support to ensure a seamless transition.
- Manage physician scheduling and cancellations, ensuring timely and effective communication with patients and staff.
- Coordinate activities such as patient birthdays, holiday events, and other miscellaneous activities with the activity coordinator.
- Supervise the Patient Registration process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage patient flow and work closely with the Medical Assistant team lead to ensure efficient operations.
- Assist with timekeeping, including employee edit requests and Paid Time Off requests.
- Ensure compliance with all licensing and regulatory requirements, including local, state, and federal agencies.
- Responsible for sending Daily Morning Pulse, completing daily center checklists, and monitoring daily huddles.
- Keep fire drills and dental logs up to date.
- Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies as needed.
- Confirm transportation lists are accurate and sent to the transportation team in a timely manner.
- Ensure phones are answered professionally and promptly.
- Process Daily Task Reports and follow up with team members on any open tasks.
- At least two years of medical office or healthcare administrative experience.
- MS Office programs experience.
- CPR certification from the American Heart Association (training and certification can be provided upon hire).
- Ability to use relevant information and individual judgment to determine compliance with laws, regulations, or standards.
- Ability to work independently and carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given.
- Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions.
- Ability to understand written sentences and paragraphs in work-related documents.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Bilingual skills preferred (English/Spanish).
