About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Water System Maintenance Lead to join our team in Somerville. As a key member of our maintenance staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our water system.

Salary: $60,608.40 per year, plus benefits

About the Job

  • Supervise and work with a small group of employees to maintain and repair plumbing systems
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and accepted trade practices
  • Perform manual duties related to plumbing work, including installing and repairing water pipes, fixtures, and valves
  • Maintain discipline and enforce safety regulations among crew members
  • Review work of crew assigned to him/her for compliance with instructions and accepted trade practices

About You

  • You must have the ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions
  • You should be able to submit written and verbal reports
  • You should have the ability to organize work teams, delegate responsibilities, and assignments to employees
  • You should be able to use tools of trade in a workmanlike manner
  • You must have knowledge of plumbing trade, tools, practices, and equipment
  • You should possess a current valid Massachusetts Master Plumbers License
  • You should have two years paid experience as a plumber
