Manufacturing Associate

The Kitting Operator is a critical member of our production team at Nutramax Laboratories. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities- Production Operations: Participate in daily meetings, understand instructions and responsibilities, and organize the manufacturing steps required in the production of safe and effective quality products.
- Quality Control: Follow instructions as written on all documents related to production/packaging of safe and effective quality products, including but not limited to Batch Records, Inventory Sheets and Logbooks.
- Equipment Maintenance: Follow SOPs related but not limited to equipment, products, and processes. Perform set-up and adjustments to all manufacturing/packaging equipment to ensure equipment perform at peak efficiency, producing safe and effective quality product.
- Material Handling: Transport Component parts weighing a minimum of 50lbs and use appropriate lifting techniques.
- Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean rooms and equipment according to standard operating procedures and perform basic maintenance duties.
- Documentation: Document work on all documents required by SOP, cGMP Guidelines and or specific instructions.
- Quality Assurance: Consistently check work for accuracy to ensure no errors or deficiencies and identify and report all discrepancies to immediate supervisor or designee.
- Teamwork: Communicate effectively with your team, supervision and other departments within the organization and function within a team, promoting positive work environment.
- Technical Skills: Operator Technical Level (level 2): familiar with the complete operation of the equipment, paperwork surrounding Batch documentation, and demonstrates mechanical aptitude in trouble shooting general equipment faults.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a cGMP or pharmaceutical environment desired but not required.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently and as part of a team, basic computer skills, and ability to lift/move packages and materials weighing a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Certifications: Basic knowledge of cGMP regulations and experience in cGMP environment is preferred but not necessary.
