Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Patient Service Representative to join our Internal Medicine team. As a key member of our community-based practice, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless patient experiences and efficient administrative operations.
Responsibilities- Schedule appointments and obtain prior authorizations from insurance providers as needed.
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, including greeting patients, answering questions, and assisting with pre-visit paperwork.
- Collect co-payments and schedule follow-up appointments, tests, and procedures.
- Field incoming telephone calls and triage appropriately.
- Monitor patient flow and waiting room activity.
- Provide general support to practice leadership, clinicians, and peers.
We are looking for candidates with a strong background in customer service and administrative experience in a medical setting. Ideal candidates will possess:
