Department Overview

This role will provide essential administrative support to the Student Government Association (SGA) under the Dean of Students. Responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities

1. Documentation Management:
Prepare and manage correspondence, reports, and various documentation.

2. Data Analysis:
Compile and analyze data for reporting purposes.

3. Event Coordination:
Organize meetings and events, including scheduling and logistical arrangements.

4. Travel Coordination:
Arrange travel for unit staff as needed.

5. Inventory Management:
Oversee office supplies and maintain inventory levels.

6. Database Development:
Create and manage databases and records systems.

7. Administrative Guidance:
Address routine administrative inquiries and contribute to procedural improvements.

8. Staff Training:
Provide training and guidance to administrative personnel.

9. Additional Duties:
Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

Educational Background:
High school diploma, GED, or vocational school diploma.

Experience:
Three to four years of relevant administrative experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in higher education is highly desirable. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.

Skills and Abilities

This position requires advanced office administration skills, including document processing, records management, event planning, and problem-solving. Proficiency in advanced office software applications is essential.
