This is a full-time position that requires strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities:

  • Record expenses in the organization's financial management system
  • Reconcile corporate credit cards and communicate with cardholders to address open items or discrepancies; reconcile active lines of credit
  • Complete requisition entry and first approver tasks
  • Take part in the annual audit process as assigned, including compiling and reviewing A/P audit test selections
  • Maintain proactive and professional customer service within the organization and with customers, vendors, and community partners
  • Maintain vendor records in the organization's financial management system
  • Create and maintain policies and procedures in assigned areas of responsibility
  • Ensure department and document security through appropriate confidentiality and access control practices
  • Work as part of a team to implement initiatives and annual departmental strategic plans
  • Assist in Finance role with fundraising events
  • Take part in cross-training within the department and assume non-Accounts Payable responsibilities to ensure separation of duties
  • Complete required organizational trainings

Requirements:

  • Experience with non-profit organizations, preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel spreadsheets is required: pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, and basic formatting
  • Ability to work well with Team, other Departments, Managers, and Directors
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to achieve and maintain first aid and CPR certification
  • Must pass a name-based and fingerprint criminal records background check
