This role is for a Blood Component Operations Specialist within a vital healthcare organization.



Key Responsibilities:


• Responding to incoming calls and managing the receipt, fulfillment, and dispatch of blood products according to client specifications.
• Ensuring timely and accurate pick-up and delivery of blood components.
• Processing donor units and modifying components as necessary.
• Labeling and appropriately disposing of blood products while conducting thorough inspections for any irregularities.


Qualifications and Skills Required:
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; medical vocational training is advantageous.
• Experience: On-the-job training is provided.
• Skills: Exceptional telephone etiquette and customer service abilities. Proficiency in accurately transcribing numerical data. Strong collaborative skills and preferred computer literacy.
