Job Summary:
The Leasing Consultant is a key member of our team at FPI Management, Inc., responsible for interacting with residents and potential residents to promote our community and secure lease agreements. This role requires excellent communication and sales skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relations: Carry out the philosophies and wishes of the Owner in the daily overall operations of the apartment community to ensure FPI is meeting the Client objectives and expectations.
- Communication: Maintain positive, professional, and effective communication with applicants, residents, vendors, clients, and guests while representing FPI.
- Leasing/Occupancy: Maintain occupancy levels as established by owner/budget expectations. Exhibit professional leasing techniques and assist with the completion of the monthly Market Surveys and analysis.
- Reporting and Document Management: Maintain appropriate resident files, including forms, leases, and documents, in accordance with FPI Standard Operating Procedures. Ensure the daily integrity and confidentiality of resident files and maintain accurate and organized records.
- Risk Management: Ensure compliance with Risk Management items through the following of the FPI Standard Operating Procedures. Report timely any/all injuries, illnesses, property damage through the proper reporting channels and forms.
- Facility Maintenance: Assist residents with reporting of maintenance needs and document facility and maintenance needs to ensure timely completion. Ongoing monitoring of the physical asset and identifying concerns with immediate supervisor.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and sales skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
