Electrical Systems Specialist

As an Electrical Systems Specialist with the U.S. Army, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient distribution of electricity within Army facilities. Your primary responsibilities will include installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, including transformers, circuit breakers, and electrical boxes. You'll also be responsible for testing equipment and identifying and repairing short circuits in wires and faulty equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and maintain electrical systems, including transformers and circuit breakers
  • Test and repair electrical equipment, including identifying and fixing short circuits
  • Read and interpret blueprints and wire plans to determine layouts and repair electrical systems
  • Work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Requirements:
  • Age: 17 to 34 years old
  • Education: Current Senior in High School (HS), HS Diploma, GED or higher
  • Citizenship: U.S. Citizen/Permanent Resident
  • Pass a background and medical screening
