**Job Summary**

The Green River Police Department is seeking qualified individuals to fill Crossing Guard positions for the current and upcoming school years.

**Job Responsibilities**

Under general supervision, Crossing Guards perform duties related to assisting children to safely cross the street to and from school. This includes:

* Providing a safe and secure environment for students to cross the street
* Assisting students with disabilities or special needs
* Maintaining a visible presence in school zones to deter traffic violations

**Requirements**

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

**Working Conditions**

* Work is performed outdoors in various weather conditions
* May be required to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
