Charge Nurse II

We are seeking a highly skilled Charge Nurse II to join our team at Levindale Hospital's Brain Health Unit. As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for providing safe, age-appropriate patient care and serving as an advisor, resource, and leader for other members of the patient care team.

• Provide direct patient care and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals
• Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing staff
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety activities
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care

• Current Maryland Registered Nurse License
• American Heart Association BLS certification
• Minimum of 1 year in charge/lead/nurse role
• Knowledge of a specialized field (Med/Surg)
• Nursing Certification of specialty area within 3-5 years of hire
