We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector to join our team at a manufacturing company in Sanford, Florida.

Job Summary:

The Quality Control Inspector will be responsible for providing production support, including precise measurement, receiving inspection, first article inspection, finished goods audit, and roving inspection. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide production support to include precise measurement, receiving inspection, first article inspection, finished goods audit, and roving inspection.
  • Under the guidance of the Quality Supervisor, reject bad components and execute piece parts, assembly and shipping holds.
  • Utilize a personal computer, SAP software programs, and other applicable department peripherals to perform quality planning and instructions.
  • Design and coordinate audits, perform analysis of field returns, and identify root causes for discrepancies.
  • Write documentation and reports to describe program evaluation, testing, and correction.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in quality control or a related field.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to work in a smoke-free environment, wear steel toe shoes, and work in a non-temperature-controlled environment.
  • Manual lifting up to 51lbs and standing for 8 hours at one time.
