Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to lead our technical team in delivering cutting-edge solutions to the Department of Defense. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise in systems engineering, requirements identification, evaluation, testing, and integration.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and maintain system requirements, including user requirements, system design, and technical specifications.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and evaluate technologies, products, and services that meet customer needs.
  • Assess acquired capabilities and identify areas for improvement, ensuring compliance with DoD systems engineering processes and procedures.
  • Develop and implement plans to assess security features of Government Off-The-Shelf (GOTS) and Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) components, protecting Critical Program Information (CPI).
  • Work with DoD Anti-Tamper Evaluation Teams to identify vulnerabilities to foreign and adversary exploitation, and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
  • Develop and evaluate friendly forces lab exploitation capabilities of US weapons systems' electronic circuitry, ensuring the security and integrity of our solutions.
  • Develop new standards to improve US weapons system anti-tamper/anti-exploitation design, development, manufacturing, training, and sustainment.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of multiple collateral and Special Access Program (SAP) Security Classification guides (SCG).
  • Provide technical support to Anti-Tamper courses, teaching modules to industry and Government participants, and assist with curriculum development and updates.

**Qualifications**

  • Possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant DoD work experience, with a strong understanding of systems engineering processes and procedures.
  • No less than three (3) years' experience in a SAP and/or SCI environment within the last five (5) years.
  • Possess an active Top Secret security clearance and be eligible for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Programs (SAP) access.
