Job Description:

This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality care. As a Certified Medication Aide, you will be responsible for preparing, administering, and observing medications, as well as taking and recording vital signs.

Requirements:

  • Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have experience in long term care.
  • Must have completed and passed a state approved Medication Aide Course.
  • Have a current medication aide permit from Texas Department of Health.
  • Be in good standing on Nurse Aide Registry and Nurse Assistant Misconduct Registry.
  • Must have current Certified Nurse Assistant Certification in Texas.
  • Ability to understand, remember and carry out oral and written instructions in English.
  • Ability to speak clearly and hear well enough to communicate with residents.
