We are currently in search of a skilled site supervisor possessing an active security clearance to become part of our team.

The Site Supervisor serves as the primary on-site leader, equipped with extensive industry knowledge and the capability to address challenges with timely and effective solutions. This role is crucial in ensuring that all installations and maintenance adhere to both company and client standards, particularly concerning safety, quality, and operational management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all on-site construction operations, including crew management, promoting safety culture, enhancing productivity, and achieving project deadlines and budgetary goals.
  • Guide and mentor technicians and installers in fulfilling their roles and responsibilities.
  • Champion MasTec's safety protocols by adhering to safe work practices and leading by example.
  • Interpret and analyze blueprints, floor plans, specifications, and technical documents.
  • Ensure compliance with security protocols and assist junior team members in adhering to these standards.
  • Exhibit a collaborative spirit, maintaining a positive demeanor, keen attention to detail, and the ability to meet project timelines.
  • Demonstrate active listening skills and provide constructive feedback and recommendations.
  • Effectively communicate daily objectives and manage crew productivity to adhere to project schedules.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, as well as other trades on-site.
  • Proactively manage site organization and cleanliness.
  • Assist with additional tasks as required.

Qualifications

  • Active security clearance is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, including supervising teams of 10 or more technicians/installers.
  • In-depth technical expertise in the structured cabling sector is essential.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook is required.
  • Familiarity with company-specific software applications is necessary.
  • Compliance with health and safety regulations is expected.
  • Preferred certifications include BICSI, though not mandatory.
  • Additional industry certifications are advantageous (e.g., CommScope, Hilti, Panduit).
  • Physical capability to stoop, kneel, and crouch as needed.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and carry 25 pounds safely.
  • Comfortable working at heights and using ladders.
  • Possession of personal tools is required.
  • Willingness to work overtime and flexible shifts as necessary.
  • Ability to travel to various job sites as required.
  • Local candidates are preferred.

Compensation

Starting hourly rate is competitive and commensurate with experience.
