We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Services Representative II to join our team at Sutter Health. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a seamless experience for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Greets and checks-in patients, verifies information, and schedules appointments
- Updates Electronic Health Records (EHR) and facilitates intake procedures
- Collects payments for services and ensures accurate billing
- Communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers
- Adheres to organizational, local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures
- Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma
- HS Diploma or equivalent education/experience
- 1 year of recent relevant experience
- 1 year of Medical Receptionist experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of insurance policies and procedures
- Ability to interpret data and instructions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Well-developed time management and organizational skills
- General knowledge of computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite
