Job Title: Geologist - Remediation Expert

AECOM is seeking a highly skilled Geologist to join our team in Arlington, VA. As a Geologist - Remediation Expert, you will play a key role in executing environmental remediation projects for the Department of Defense.

Responsibilities:
  • Support planning and executing projects for environmental compliance and cleanup
  • Perform environmental regulatory research and analysis
  • Develop and implement environmental solutions and best management practices
  • Interface with clients to identify technical requirements
  • Write work planning documents and technical reports
  • Lead and perform field work, including sampling and data collection
  • Participate in teams of engineers and scientists in project execution
  • Analyze data sets, draw conclusions, and develop risk management recommendations
  • Manage personal workloads and apprise project managers of progress and obstacles
Requirements:
  • BS/BA in Geology or related science field and 6+ years of experience
  • Valid U.S. Driver's License
  • US Citizenship required
Preferred Requirements:
  • PG Licensed Geologist
  • Demonstrated experience with the Department of Defense Restoration Program
  • Familiarity with federal environmental laws and regulations
