We are seeking a skilled Pre-Engineered Metal Building Specialist to join our team at APX Construction Group LLC. As a key member of our Steel Erection Crew, you will play a crucial role in the construction and assembly of pre-engineered metal buildings across various locations in Minnesota and South Dakota.
Key Responsibilities- Read and interpret construction drawings and plans to ensure accurate execution of projects.
- Erect and assemble pre-engineered metal buildings according to specifications, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.
- Install structural steel components, maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and contractors to achieve project goals.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
- Desire to learn about steel erection and/or pre-engineered metal buildings, with a strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
- Valid driver's license and dependable transportation for travel between project locations.
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions, with a focus on physical stamina and endurance.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a willingness to adapt to changing project requirements.
- Competitive hourly wage ($25-$35 per hour), with opportunities for overtime and career growth.
- Travel expenses covered for project-related travel, with a focus on work-life balance.
